The basket must be assembled "in series" with a standard gabion basket. This creates a cost-effective structure and a neater appearance, as double spiral wires are avoided. If the customer wishes, the baskets can be cut to the desired size instead of the standard dimension. Height The standard height of a single basket is 0,5 m or 1,0 m. If the height of the structure exceeds one meter, baskets are stacked on top of each other until the desired height is reached. However, the wire diameter of the baskets must be 5,0 mm. A 3,0 mm wire diameter is recommended for structures up to 0,5 m high at most. A 3,0 mm wire thickness can be used for a 1,0 m high wall, but the walls may be slightly uneven. From a transport cost perspective, a more economical option is to deliver the baskets in parts and have the customer assemble them using spiral wires. Staples In larger projects, the most convenient way is to connect the baskets with CL50 staples. A special staple gun is required for this.
