The baskets are to be assembled "in series" with a standard gabion basket. This creates a cost-effective structure and a neater appearance, as double spiral wires are avoided. Welded 5.0 mm Aluzink mesh, mesh size 76 x 76 mm. Suitable filling material is 100-200 mm natural stone or crushed stone, not included in delivery. Dimensions Standard dimensions are used by default. If the customer wishes, baskets can be cut to the desired size instead of the standard dimension. Height The standard height of a single basket is 0.5 m or 1.0 m. If the height of the structure exceeds one metre, baskets are stacked on top of each other until the desired height is reached. However, the wire diameter of the baskets must be 5.0 mm. A 3.0 mm wire diameter is recommended for structures up to 0.5 m high. A 3.0 mm wire thickness can be used for a 1.0 m high wall, but the walls of the wall may be slightly uneven. If this is not possible, one locking wire should be used to connect two separate baskets. Spiral binding wire Smaller quantities can be assembled more easily with 3.0 mm spiral binding wire. No special tools are needed for installation in this case. Pliers can be used to lock the spiral wire and thus prevent it from unwinding. From the perspective of transport costs, a more economical option is to deliver the baskets in parts and have the customer assemble them using spiral wires. CL50 clips For larger projects, the most convenient way is to join the baskets with CL50 clips. A special clip pliers is required for this. The advantage of using clips is that they do not stand out as clearly as spiral wires. On the other hand, installation time is significantly shorter and clips are cheaper than spiral wires.
