Garden soil is a high-quality ready-made growing medium that provides a nutrient-rich foundation for your plants. The even quality of the soil is ensured by carefully selected raw materials and organic fertilizers. The soil's raw materials are peat soil improver, sand, horse and cow manure compost, and lime. The garden soil is a registered product (Evira 1468/741/2006) and meets organic product requirements (EC 889/2008 article 3 paragraph 1). The production of the garden soil is strictly controlled and is also well suited for growing edible plants. Benefits The garden soil is ready to use as is, and the soil is easy to handle. Thanks to the high and even quality of the soil, your plants can thrive and pests and diseases cannot easily attack them. Your plants will grow more evenly and the harvest of useful plants will be more abundant during the growing season. When plants are healthy and thriving, care is also easier, so regular watering and necessary fertilizing are sufficient. There is no need to add lime to the soil during the first two growing seasons. If the subsoil is very acidic, it may be necessary to add lime to balance the soil's pH. Usage Ready growing medium for vegetable gardens, ornamental shrubs and trees, and lawns. A minimum layer of 20 cm is recommended for a vegetable garden. A ten square meter vegetable garden with a 25 cm layer requires about 2.5 m³, or two and a half bulk bags. A standard 100 × 120 cm pallet collar holds about 0.25 m³. Delivery area This product is delivered only within the Pirkanmaa region. During the first growing season, the nutrients are sufficient for most plants. In the following years, compost or organic fertilizer is added to the surface. How large is a bulk bag?
